How to Play

In the age before memory, the gods scattered mythical creatures across the realm — each bound to a master willing to claim them. The fate of the world is decided not by armies, but by the seven creatures standing on your table.

Be the first player to have 7 creatures on your table simultaneously. Basic Creatures and Magic Creatures both count toward this total — Baby Creatures do not, but they are completely immune to all effects.

Every player starts with a Baby Creature already in play. Untouchable. Immune to spells, abilities, downgrades — everything. It's your anchor while you build toward seven.

If all players run out of cards in their deck and hand, the player with the most qualifying creatures wins. Ties are settled by most recent creature played.

Draw Phase

You automatically draw a card from your personal deck. Some downgrades or abilities can block this — suffer them if you must.

Ability Phase

Turn-based abilities on your creatures and upgrades activate automatically. Oni peeks, Sphinx views, Vampire bites — the board adjusts.

Action Phase

Play one card from your hand, or draw an extra card instead. That's your action for the turn. End it when you're ready — or let the timer decide.

A turn timer keeps things moving. Let it run out and the turn passes automatically — no deadlocks.

Baby Creature

Your protected anchor. Immune to all effects. Does not count toward your seven.

Basic Creature

Core units. Simple to play, essential to victory. Each one counts toward your seven.

Magic Creature

Powerful beings with unique on-play and turn abilities. Counts toward seven.

Magic Spell

One-time effects: steal creatures, swap hands, shuffle decks, nullify abilities and more.

Upgrade

Permanent support cards: extra draws, creature protection, trigger-on-play bonuses.

Downgrade

Curses on opponents: forced discards, draw blocks, ability bans, creature threats.

Instant

Interrupt any play at any time. Counter spells. Deny creatures. Chain with others. Use wisely.

When any player plays a card, an Interrupt Window opens briefly. Any player holding an Instant card can use it to cancel or counter the play — even on an opponent's turn.

Instants can counter other Instants. A chain can form. Divine Intervention is the ultimate response — it counters anything and cannot itself be countered.

Blessed Rejection is the standard counter — but it can be countered by another Blessed Rejection, or stopped outright by Divine Intervention.

The interrupt window has a time limit. React fast or lose your chance forever.
